We are very excited to be teaming up with Just Love Coffee to help our fund-raising efforts for adoption. The coffee is delicious, and with every bag that is sold, we receive $5. I can't explain to you how excited we are. Not only will this help us, but it's pretty stinking cool at the same time. You can go to our website www.justlovecoffee.com/loganandmelody to view and purchase several blends of coffee. So, all my caffeine addicted friends: you can help your cause by helping ours!!!

Interviews, Interviews, Interviews
We are currently heading into our third week of interviews. Last week, we had our second interview in our home which concluded with our home inspection. And, despite what my lovely wife might say, I am not that disgusting to live with. Ha. We passed our home inspection with flying colors. We had heard that most people get overly stressed out about these things, and we were no exception. Melody's mother came the Saturday prior to the meeting and helped scrub, and I mean SCRUB our house down. Needless to say, the place was awesome, and I felt blessed to have a home that nice. However, the stories were true. We completely stressed for nothing. It was simple, almost routine. In fact, our counselor spent most of the time trying to get Melody to come decorate her home and raving about Mel's "unique design ability."
So, now we are on to the next step: the individual meeting. I am going today for my one-on-one interview, and Melody's is tomorrow. So, as usual, please be praying for wisdom and guidance through this entire process. It is turning into a very pleasant and rewarding process, because we know it is exactly where God wants us. He has blessed us so much already, and we are enjoying the adventure so much, we forget we are actually working "toward" the reward: a beautiful baby. Our child isn't here yet, but we still have the "joy of God sustaining us" until that day. May God bless each of you. We thank you for your continued prayers and support.

It's been a long time.....
Wow... the times they are a-changing. We thought it pertinent to update our blog, now. It's FINALLY time to do so, because we actually have something to share. First, we'd like to start by expressing our sincere thanks to all of those who have supported our child through prayer, guidance and through financial means. To all of those who are sportin' the Craving Grayson shirts, we thank you. For those of you who aren't and would like to.... they will be available soon.
God has been so good to us. Throughout the month of December, we attended classes with Agape. We love their heart for ministry and their vision and passion for the Kingdom. After a lot of prayer, we are really excited about choosing them as our agency. After finishing our orientation, we have begun our home study. (Kind-a weird being finger printed, ha) We have been working on the house, getting it ready to be scrutinized by our social worker, and by the way, please pray for her. Since I don't have her permission, I can't give her name, but she loves Jesus and her passion is pairing needy children with Christian couples. So, please please please pray for her. Not just because of our adoption, but because of all the cases she works with, she needs our prayer. We have a meeting Thursday morning with her, and things are looking up.
We are constantly reminded of how good God is. In the past month, through the devastation of Haiti, we have seen God use this terrible event to bring home a child to very good friends of ours. Even through the darkest times, we have a hope and a light, and He is always faithful. We are so excited about the near future, and thank you so much for your prayers and support.
God Bless,
